What we do & Who we are?
Read About Our Work
We aim to understand the psychology of the self
What is “the self”?
Which parts and links in the brain reflect the self?
Why do we have a strong sense of self?
How does our self-concept influence how we interact with other people?
These are just some of the questions we try to answer with methods such as behavioural experiments, virtual reality experiments, Electroencephalogram recordings, and machine learning models.
The Sui Cognition Lab is based in the School of Psychology at the University of Aberdeen.
